Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio
Due to job loss, my wife and I will eventually have to file for bankruptcy. We are trying to delay this for as long as possible, hoping to find a job.
Question: Most of our bills simply cannot be paid and we're wondering if our income, which is my military pension and her social security, can be garnished by creditors? There's no child support or tax debts involved.
Thank You

Generally. pension and social security benefits can not be garnished. For detailed advise on your particular situation, you should consult with a local attorney who does bankruptcy work.
