Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio
Fitness center contract
In 1994 I signed a contract to join a health club and was unable to fufill the contract financially. I have now been subpoenaed to court in regard to this matter. Is there a statute of limitations and am I still obligated to pay the amount owed? I have not used the services of this club.

Re: Fitness center contract
The statute of limitations on a written contract is 15 years, and yes, you are still obligated to pay unless there is some extreme physical inability to use the services.(i.e. quadroplegia since th signing of the contract, etc.
