garnishment

i had my check garnishised last year for credit card debt.i just found out without prior notification that they garnished my checking account for the same account. can you be garnished twice i am still employed and paying them

A creditor can continue to garnish any and all sources until the debt is paid fully, regardless of whether you're making payments or not. Demand an accounting from the lawfirm doing the garnishments.
