Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Judgement collection

A judgement was granted to me. I was told I can attempt to collect it myself by filing a Judgement Debtor Exam, Garnishment by Bank/Employer or a Lien. I was told to visit the law library. My attempt was unsuccessful. I have tried to find the forms/instructions online but was unsuccessful. My case was won in Common Pleas Court. Please help me find the instructions/forms.

Re: Judgement collection

You can look in the phone book under legal printers for the forms you request. However, since the judgment was from the Court of Common Pleas, I imagine that the judgment is for quite a bit of money. I would suggest contacting counsel to assist in the collection of the debt as counsel may have resources that are not available to you.

Good luck
