loan co-signer
A father co-signed for an automobile loan for 20 year old son. Son failed to make payments and car was repossed by lending institution and sold at auction. Father is now liable for debt. Son has a job. Can father sue son and have his wages attached? If not, does father have any other remedies?

Yes, father's suit will be for contribution, and any judgment received can be used to garnish the son's wages.
