Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio
My mom was on medicaid and just passed away. She has no estate, but a $2300 credit card bill. In the last few months she made me a co-signer to handle her payments (she had dimentia and was sick). I don't have a card in my name and it is not a joint account. Will I be held responsible for this balance?

It all depends on what you signed with the credit card company. I would have an attorney review it and advise you.
Be advised that the credit card company will attempt to hold you responsible.
