Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

My mother recently passed away and had a few credit cards soley in her name without my father as a user on the account or a co-signer. Is he liable for this debt?

If your father did not co-sign or use the cards then these credit cards will be the responsiblity of your mother's estate. You may have a hard time convincing the credit card companies of that fact and may want to get an attorney involved.
