Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

I have recently registered and trandmarked a masonry company named 'project x' within the last year. If my grandfather had done similar work with the same name, but did not register it, will I reep his debt because i chose to use the same name?

No you would have to agree via a contract to actually take on his debt. You may get some collection notices from companies who might think your company is the same as your grandfather's company.
