Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Your right to reclaim property, held by someone else!

Purchased a wood-chipper for $5,200. Seller agreed to let it stay on his property until we needed it @ no charge. We contacted him to pick-up chipper over a year later. He said no problem. Upon meeting, we told him we do not need the chipper. Seller offered to sell in short order, or buy-back said chipper, and use for rental. Eight months later we have $1,000, and no further payments. We have original bill of sale. There is no contract for his re-purchase. How do we get the machine back?

Since there is no contract involved and he will not turn over the machine it appears as if you will have to go to court to recover the chipper.

Good Luck.
