They repossessed it, and they are still coming

My ex boyfriend and I had purchased a motorcycle and couldn't make the payments. The bank repossessed, and sold at a ''private'' sale instead of public sale. Can they still come after me for the difference between the original amount and the amount gained from the private sale through the court system?

They have the right to come after you for the full amount owed, including interests and court costs. The security interest only guarantees that they will get something regardless.
