Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Spouse Credit Card

My husband and I are going through a divorce and he refuses to pay any bills until the court makes him when we go to court. He moved out 2 months ago and the bills are over due. My question is this: I have a credit card that is in his name. Is it legal for me to pay the bills that are in his name using his credit card? Such as the utility bills? Can he sue me for the money back in the future? As of right now, I'm still legally married to him. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Spouse Credit Card

If there are restraining orders precluding you from using each others credit cards, then you may not use the card. It seems to me that you need to request spousal support. Contact your attorney about spousal support.

Good luck!!!!!!!!
