Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

My ex has been stalking me for years now trying to find me he finally did and is telling me he is going to sue me for a bill in full that both our names are on. I have never been contacted by the company personally and I will not give my ex a dime. It has been over 12 years since I left him what should I do?

In Ohio, the bill upon which payment is sought may be past the statute of limitations, so you may be able to assert that as a defense if a lawsuit were filed. He would also have a real party in interest problem.
