Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

What should I do to stop litigation or collections on a loan from a repossessed vehicle? Under my divorce decree my former husband is to have full responsibility on paying, but he is getting unemployment and is not paying anything.

You have the option of filing for bankruptcy. All collection actions in state court will be halted during the pendency of the case and, if you qualify, you may be able to discharge the entire debt.
