summons in civil action unpaid car note

i have been summoned to appear for non-payment of vehicle that was turned in over a year ago.can they garnish my wages when my child support orders exceeds 25 percent of my net earnings

Yes, provided that the total wages garnished do not exceed 60% of the gross.
