threat to garnish wages
i have lots of doctor bills, smallest is $600, most have gone to collections and they are threatining to sue and garnish my wages. i have talked to some and they say they will only accept full payment or monthly payments i can't afford, $100. If i send them each $10 a month can they still sue me?

Yes, the doctors can still sue if you make a $10.00 per month payment. It should keep the creditors at bay for a little while though. I would pay with a money order so they dont get a judgment and then attach your bank account. You may want to consider bankruptcy or contact the consumer credit counseling service located in your phone book.
