Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio
Verbal Agreement
I had a verbal agreement with 2 other ladies to rent an apartment. The agreement was we all pay $160 for a 12 month lease even if we moved out. My name is the only one on the lease b/c of credit reasons. The one lady moved out and stoped paying a couple months later. Sinse we had a verbal agreement should she still owe me the money?

Re: Verbal Agreement
The other two may owe you the money, but you have to prove all of the facts and circumstances surrounding that verbal agreement. It is very hard to do.
