Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
3 misdemeanors and 1 felony
For my first offense ever, I was charged with open container, underage consumption, possession of cocaine, and possession of false id. How can I avoid losing my liscence and having a felony on my record. I am willing to do anything.

Re: 3 misdemeanors and 1 felony
You need to get the assistance of an experienced criminal defense attorney. That attorney will tell you to be assessed for chemical dependency issues (re: cocaine & alcohol). You also need to look into the local court system's approach to these cases. In some counties, the Court may impose a jail or prison term for these offenses while in other (most) counties, the punishment is likely to be probation.
Loss of your driving privileges is not the major issue here -- avoiding a felony convict is.
Good luck with your case.
