Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
My 25 year old nephew has no record. Is currently being charged with aggravated robbery 2911.11 (A)1 , 2911.11(A)2, Burglary 2911.12(A)2, Kidnapping 2905.01(A)2, Robbery 2911.02(A)1,2 and 3, 2909.04(A)1 and Petty Theft 2913.02(A)1. Is there a possibility he could get any of these reduced to misdemeanors? What could he be facing?

It is highly unlikely that the charges would be reduced to misdemeanors. If convicted of the charges as they are now, he is potentially facing a maximum of 10 years in prison if sentenced to the maximum and if the time is not run consecutively.
