Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
accused of domestic violence
in the state of ohio,domestic violence can take place only if you have a child together,married,or live together or lived together BUT it says as a spouse. a spouse in the dictionary is a wife or husband.how can someone be arrested for this crime if none of the above makes the deffendant elligable

You can be arrested for just about anything. But whether there is enough evidence to convict you is another story. What county did this take place in? Has this person talked to a lawyer?
