Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

Accused of Theft

The whole incident started with a girl confessing to stealing over $800, from there they checked the computer & decided to accuse me & another person.Well, recently I was visited by two detectives from the Sylvania Township Police here in Toledo, OH and they showed up in an unmarked car, without uniform, didn't show any badges or anything, in fact they didn't even have cards to be contacted at.They said that I was being accused of stealing $280somthing, which I didn't steal. They also informed me that the girl who confessed to stealing had said that she taught me and the other girl accused how to steal the same way she did, that is not true. The computer records show how the drawer was every night and if there was ever any money missing it was always between $1 and $10, never anything huge.ANytime there was any money missing during my shift because of an error it was promtly repaid. If anything, I think I was one of the best workers there & was told numerous times by the manager. The detecives asked me to take a polygraph test, although at the time i agreed they never followed through and I will not take it.Is there a case here? Lord knows what a roller coaster ride its been for me & my parents.Any suggestions?
