Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Aggravated Robbery
My friend was charged with two counts of agg. robbery and kidnapping. The courts then re-indicted him with robbery. Now altogether he has 6 charges. He has already entered a guilty plea and has accepted responsibilty for his actions. He has a co-defendant in the case. The courts offered him 2 years to tell. he rejected it. Now they are trying to make him take 4 years with the possibility of a judicial in 18 months. He will not accept it. What options does he have now? If he goes to trial how much time could he possibly get? He does have a criminal background but is looking to get real help for his issues and not end up back in prison.

Re: Aggravated Robbery
To tell the time he could get, I would need to know exactly what charges he pled to. Also, if he has already pled, he has lost he option for trial unless he is able to withdraw his plea. I would need to know more to give any further information. Feel free to contact me if you wish. Best Regards, Edward Dicato
