Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
aggravated robbery w/specs
When you are convicted with aggravated robbery with specs ( bb gun)and the judge gives you 4 years in penitentary will you have to do the full 4 years? This is a first criminal offense. THe judge kept bring up that he should not be behind in child support. Could he of based his conviction on that? The lawyer could not believe getting 4 years on a first time criminal.

Re: aggravated robbery w/specs
From the information you've provided, it appears that the defendant would be eligible for judicial release after 180 days in prison. Was this discussed with either the prosecutor or the judge?
Re: aggravated robbery w/specs
After 6 months, or after any mandatory prison time, this person can file for judicial release, which is determined by the judge. This person should be as good as possible since a report from the prison will be sent to the judge. Feel free to contact me directly.
