alcohol induced recording

i am a corrcctional officer, i was invited to watch a football game at a friends home,given alcohol(about 6 to 8 beers)i then was coerced into a conversation about a use of force that i was involved in at work.i then overexagerated the force i used on the inmate.the fbi had set this up.they have since charged me with vialating the inmates civil rights. i would like to know if this recording is admisable?

When you say that you were "coerced" into talking about the event, what do you mean? Did someone beat you? Were you tortured? If what you really mean is that your inhibitions were down because of the alcohol and the setting, that is not "coercion."

If you were actually "coerced" then your statements are probably not admissible.

The unspoken question is whether the FBI is now trying to use these statements against you in a criminal case. If so, did you have an attorney at the time the statements were made?

This is much too complicated to try to sort out by yourself. You need an attorney to work through these issues.
