appeals process
if a person takes a plea deal, in the state of ohio, is the person allowed to request an appeal?

You can appeal any final order of a court. You would need to find a legal defect in the plea agreement or sentencuing procedure to have a chance for success. Better to ask the Court to vacate the plea (or at least try that first). I have a large criminal practice if you would like to discuss this further. I can even quote you a price.
