Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
I was arrested for burglary
I went to a party on New Years eve and at about 2 a.m. I got mad and left, walking. I don't remember anything from about 12 midnight and 6 a.m. however when I came back to reality I was in the back of a sherriff cruiser on my way to jail for burglary. Apparently I broke into a house on my way home and sat down and went to sleep. I didn't steal anything but was still charged with Burglary Felony 4. My question therefore being, Do I have any hope of fighting this or do I just bite the bullet and plead guilty for being so stupid as to break into a strangers house?

Re: I was arrested for burglary
Sounds like you have an excellent defense for burglary. You certainly trespassed, but you may very well have not committed a felony, and you certainly do not want to plead to a felony.
You may speak with me directly if you wish.

You definately trespassed, but a good lawyer may be able to get it reduced.
Good Luck!!!!
