Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
I was arrested for domestic violence and spent three days in jail for Amy's Law. My girlfriend lied and said we lived together just to make me go to jail. Can I sue the government?

No because they had evidence that you were in a "family" situation. Also, you don't say how you were convicted; by pleading, by judge or by jury. One of those three had to happen so you have no recourse against any government entity. You could, however, sue your girlfriend of defamation. Don't know how that would work, but it's a possibility.
