Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Can I have someone arrested?
If I know someone, that is currently out-of-state- that has a warrant out for his arrest (misdemeanor for unauthorized use of a vehicle and a bench warrant for unpaid speeding tickets)can I call the police and have them arrested if I see them in town?

Re: Can I have someone arrested?
If it's out of state, the state not involved has no power to arrest. He'd have to be in the state where the warrant is.
