Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
assualt and autism
my 20 year old autistic son attempted to stab his bus driver with a steak knife from home. the police 'pink slipped' him to a local hospital. this happened yesterday
afternoon. we do not have guardianship of him. no one was hurt. what happens next. what do we need to do?

It's hard to say what might happen next. Under ordinary circumstances, he would probably be charged with felonious assault, but given his condition I would hope that wouldn't happen. You really need to talk to a lawyer to begin a dialog with the police and the prosecutor. Maybe I could help. I'm located nearby, in North Canton.
