If charged as a Felony 4, minimum could be 6 to 18 month sentence, but probation with a suspended sentence is an option for the judge. If the officer was seriously hurt, there is a mandatory sentance of one year consecutive to whatever other terms of prison are imposed. (I just had a client sentenced today for the same offense).
