Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Bench warrants, Bonds.
I have 2 active warrants for M4 trespassing(failure to appear for review) and unpaid fines on those cases. My fines total about $960. Now apparently my bench warrants have bonds attached to them. $1000 each. Now my question is this, being that it is set by the judge, on my courts website it says ''bond set at $1000 cash'' wouldnt I be able to bond out using the 10% thing? Meaning that my total bond altogether is $2000, but couldnt I pay 10% to get out like usual because in the past the Judge would set bond, and you would only have to pay the bondsmen 10% of whatever your bond is. If anyone has the answer to this please respond. Also, if possible from experience can anyone tell me what is LIKELY to happen to me over all of this, take into consideration that I am turning myself in and saving the courts the trouble of finding me as well as it is not a violent crime, trespassing. Thanks.

Re: Bench warrants, Bonds.
If you use a bondsman, they will post the $2000.00 and charge you a 10% fee. As far as what might happen to you, it would help to know what Court you are in. Best regards, Edward DiCato
