Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Bounced checks
I have two bounced, unpaid checks. At this time, I am unable to pay the entire amount on both. If I pay a small portion on each one, will this stop prosecution?

Re: Bounced checks
You may pay of portion of the bad check and that may get rid of the criminal portion, however, the prosecuting witness may not except less taht full restitution so that they can get a conviction and then have a noose around your neck to encourage restitution.
