Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
My boyfriend went to jail on January 10th he was sentence to five years he filed for a motion his sentence was reduced to 2 1/2 years. This is his first offense. My question is by him applying for the motion will he still be qualified for a judicial

Your question isn't very clear, but if I understand you right, your boyfriend filed a motion for reconsideration of his sentence which was then reduced from 5 years to 2.5 years. Depending on what he was sentenced for, he might be able to file for judicial release.
