The Use of Capitalization

Can a person use all lowercase letters as part of

his/her legal name and signature? Legally

speaking, is 'Your Name'' any different than ''your

name'' Would a name need to be legally

Your name is officially the one with the capitals as it is on your birth certficate...if you want to change your name, you would have to change it to the one without the capital letters.

You can do this at the Cuyahoga County Probate Court.

Legally, you would have to change your name through the probate court, however, you can try to adopt a "nickname" with just lowercase letters. The new name will not be legal for your drivers license or for any other legal purpose.
