Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
carrying a concealed weapon
i was chraged w/a ccw w/ a micro leatherman tool that was on my keychain & have never had a felony conviction of any violent crime that was a felony before would there be enough law to convict me on it ? open, it pertained a tiny pair if nail sciccors,cuticle knife, & tweezers, the whole thing extended i could still hold it in the palm of me hand but the officer took it off of my keychain.

Yes you can be charged, but an affirmative defense at trial would be that it was a tool. You may be offered a plea bargain, but if that is all they have, you cannot take a criminal conviction on this, because if that is a tool for you then you are not guilty of anything. I have a leatherman tool myself.
