Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Case or no case?
My aunt and a friend were indicted and are co-defendants in a criminal case. They are being tried seperately. My aunt received a subpoena to testify for the state (I guess). If she testifies, will she still have a trial and will the co-defendant be subpoenaed for her case?

If your aunt was indicted that means she is charged with a felony. Felony charges can result in prison. She should have a lawyer and she should be asking this question to that lawyer. If your aunt testifies at the trial her testimony could later be used against her at her own trial. This is too serious of an issue to be addressed in a bulletin board. She needs a lawyer that is looking out for her interests.
