Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
so should i just let them charge me if there going to do it? i called the place where the check was wrote. they said they didnt have any video tape,or even a copy of the DLs that was used. only thing they have is my check and my DL # on it. if a handwriting sample isngt going to help me.i cant beleive they can charge me on what little they have. thanks for helping and answering my questions. any other advice you can give me? what will they do issue a warrant?

If they issue a warrant then they will come arrest you. At that time you definitely need an attorney. But, if they don't even have a video tape it sounds like they are trying to get you to submit to the handwriting sample in order to have evidence at trial. I would not submit to it at all.
