Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Charged in another county for the same thing
I just filed an assault charge on someone that was just last week sentenced with a felony assault(reduced to misdemeanor 1) in another county. He is on probation in that county for two years. Can he get in trouble with that county if they are notified about the assault charge?

If he was on probation when the assault you filed occurred, then that would be a probation violation. The probation would start at the sentencing. Feel free to contact me if you have more questions. Best regards, Edward diCato
