Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Charged with direct indictment
I just found out that there was a direct indictment warrant placed on me sometime in 2004. As far as am concerned, the case was heard in the Muncipal court and Dismissed but on my background checks it shows that the arresting agency still have a warrant out for me.
How do i resolve this

Re: Charged with direct indictment
You need to hire an attorney to investigate the existence of the warrant and attempt to resolve the matter with the prosecuting agency if it was placed of record by mistake. If not, and you have been indicted, it needs to be resolved via court.
