Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

what should i do?

hi. im being charged with furnishing beer to an underage person in delaware county. what would my best route be to have this cleared up asap, and what is probably going to happen, just a fine? fine and probabtion? i have court this coming monday.

if i plead not guilty and am found guilty, are the penaties going to be worse than if i just plead guilty? i dont have a lawyer, im too poor.

This may be a case where you would be better served to spend the money now for an attorney so that you don't have a bigger problem later.

Delaware County is fairly harsh with these offenses. I would reconsider not hiring an attorney.

The offense is a first degree misdemeanor -- punishible by up to six months in jail and a fine of $1,000.00.
