Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
i got charged with ovi and child endangering and failure to control for an accident in sepetember. i admitted to taking ambien(which was prescribed) and i didnt take more than i should. i just got my drug lab tests back and they came back negative for ambien and a lot of other drugs. can i still be charged with OVI and the endangering if the urine test came back negative?!

Most of the time there are two OVI charges. One is for being over the legal limit and the other is operating while being impaired. You can still be charged with operating while impaired but the State or City will have to prove that you were, in fact, impaired and what caused the impairment.
