Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

I was charged with a public indecency-exposure charge, a M-4 degree charge, along with 4 other trumped up charges by the police. I did a plea bargain and plead out to public indecency and another misdemeanor 4, transporting an unloaded gun charge. I was fined 200.00 and cost and put on probation for a year. Probation sent me to a counselor and he has requested I take a polygraph exam. Since I am on community control, am I required to submit to this lie detector test or can I refuse it. I know the polygraph is not real reliable and may be incriminated for something I did not do. What are my options?

Your "counselor" wants you to take a polygraph as a result of your M4? Did he say why? For what organization does this counselor work? I have never heard of such a thing. A polygraph result is not admissible evidence in Ohio. Yes, you can refuse it but I do not know what the fallout would be.
