collecting unemployment checks after starting a new job

I collected six unemployment checks after starting a new job.I have never been in troble befor im being charged with a felony five.My attorney believes he can get it down to a mis.one or in a diversion program.What is your feelings? And when the arrest papers come out from the court will they come to my home or work place right away or will I have time to go down to court on my own with my attorney and turn myself in? Thank you for answering.

Either you got the checks or you did not. Once you started a new job you had an obligation to cancel the unemployment. If your attorney can get you into a diversion program.... take it.
