Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
compensation for human bite wound
I was bit by a woman at a concert and received a very nasty wound on my arm that bruised. I was in pain for almost 3 weeks and was unable to perform some tasks of my job. I was also humiliated by the sight of the bruise when customers at work would stare and ask questions about my injury. Other than medical expenses I am unsure how much compensation is appropriate to ask for for pain and suffering... any suggestions?

First of all, was she arrested and charged?
A criminal court can order restitution without you having to litigate. Secondly, you have a year from the date of the incident to sue, so I would wait to see how it heels before determining how much to ask for. For example, will it scar?
