consequences of not appearing in court..
in june 2008 me and my boyfriend filed assault charges against some, now after being supeonad we do not want to testify, what are the consequences of these actions?

Re: consequences of not appearing in court..
If you receive a subpoena to appear in court but refuse to honor that subpoena it is contempt of court. The judge can issue a warrant for your arrest and have you brought into court from the jail to give your testimony.
