Convicted of same crime different courts
if someone was convicted on a M1 Theft in municiple court paid restitution did everything ordered by court and a year later be tried for same offense with same evidence in jury trial in common pleas court?

If your description of events is accurate, then the attorney for that client should raise a defense of double jeopardy.
