I was convicted of a minor misdomeaner (possession of drugs) when I was 19. How long do I have to wait to have my record expunged

To expunge misdemeanor offenses, you have to wait one year from the last day that you were under some sort of punishment. For instance, if you were convicted on December 1, 2010, but then put on probation for six months, then you would have to wait one year from May 1, 2011 to apply for an expungement.

You should also be aware that expungement is only for first time offenders, thus if you have any other convictions on your record that are not directly related to the matter you are attempting to expunge (traffic tickets don't count) then you cannot get an expungement.
