Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Cousin Arrested for ATT Murder & FEL Assault
My 18yr old cousin was arrested April 1st for FEL Assault and providing alcohol to a minor. On April 14 they added
the charge ATT Murder.
Our family has no money for an attorney, Can anyone give me
a general idea as to what kind of time he is looking at in
prison?

As charged there would be a minimum of 2 years in prison - MANDATORY. A lawyer would work to get out of the mandatory time so that the judge could sentence him as a first time offender.
