Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

I was arrested for a 5th degree felony because i refused a lie detector test beacuse of taking pain medication from a surgery - when they came to arrest me the policeman threated to throw me to the ground when i was walking he left bruises on me how legal is all this.
