In criminal law, the letters and numbers associated with the charge is the location in the Ohio Revised Code where that charge is defined and that conduct prohibited by law. In your example 2903.11(A)(1), means in:
Title 29, which is crimes and criminal procedure, Chapter 2903, which contains Homicide and Assault Charges,
Section 2903.11 defines Felonious Assault, and
(A)(1) means the felonious assault was by causing serious physical harm to a person or their unborn child.
