Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Disclosing on Job Applications
I completed a Felony Drug Court program that resulted
in the dismissal of my posession charge. When filling
out job applications, the question asked is, ''Have you
ever been charge with a felony that resulted in anything
other than a pleading of Not Guilty?''. Since this charge
has been dismissed, can I answer this question,
legally, with a NO?

Re: Disclosing on Job Applications
You need to look at the exact wording of the Court entry that was filed when you successfully completed Drug Court. I would also recommend that you resubmit this question to civil attorneys who handle employment law.
Re: Disclosing on Job Applications
You prpbably can answer no , but if you want to explain everything to me personally, I can give you a definitive answer, and maybe have your record completely expunged so you don't have any problems.
